We have made several changes in the office to create a safe environment for our patients and staff. When you arrive, please call (516-883-6199) or text us (516-405-0576) from you car (or outside the building). We are reducing the number of people in the office - and reducing patient interaction. We need to keep distancing of 6' whenever possible. We will take your temperature. Patients or staff with a temperature at or over 100 deg F will not be admitted. Masks are a must, until it's time to remove it in the treatment room.
Please note, recently the CDC has relaxed some of the mask receommendations, but we are a healthcare facility and as such, masks are still required. Thank you for your cooperation.
In the treatment rooms we have installed air filters and oral aerosol vacuums - to keep the air as clean as possible. Staff are using disposable gowns and additional PPE (compared to pre-COVID times). Some of our infection control procedures are unchanged (sterile instuments/surface disinfection) but we have intensified our cleaning procedures on some non-treatment areas to use disinfectants.
The additional steps we are taking occasionally mean you might wait a few minutes before we admit you. Please understand this is for your health and those in the area. Your patience is most appreciated.
Before you enter we will need to know the following:
